Kenneth Cole Touch Screen Watch Touch, If You Dare

[07/07/10]

Touch has to be one of the most powerful of our senses. We use our fingers and our hands to map out the world around us. We use touch to control everything, from using a remote to turn of NCIS, the world’s most painful television show, to navigating a stumbling late-night bootie via our iPhones.

Blind people use touch to ‘see’ someone’s face and it’s the all-powerful ‘touch’ that’s going to get you into strife at the world’s top pole dancing emporiums.

So it’s little wonder that Kenneth Cole has incorporated this most tactile of sensations into its watch collections. This tech-savvy time piece uses a touch screen interface to create a simplistic, uncluttered design.

View the time in 32-cities (if you can name them) and then wake yourself up as if you lived there; recreate your favourite teleportation scenes from vintage Star Trek with the ‘electro-luminescent back light’; and avoid showing up in flood light sweeps with the silicon strap (an optional black enamel-coated link band will cost you a little more).

This little beauty also has a count down feature, perfect for when you’ve been put in time out by the Mrs, and is also water resistant.

Oh, and it tells you the time too.
