Likuid Nightclub Hong Kong Las Vegas Clubbing Hits HK

[11/02/11]

Oh how the clubbing scene has changed since we were first ducking bouncers and packing hip flasks. There's no more foamy tap beer and busting a nut solo on the dance floor. Glow sticks are out, VIP lines are in, and you'll find more vinyl in Madonna's closet then you will on the DJ decks. But we need to change with the times and a new LKF club promises to bring the best of the contemporary Las Vegas scene here, to the Fragrant Harbour.

Likuid from the outside may look like a Samsonite case, but there is method to its design madness. Having opened on Saturday night, the stainless steel Likuid brings together state-of-the-art technology, lux bottle service and cutting edge DJ performances straight from the Strip.

Combining an insulated “floating” floor, laser rain showers that are unique to Hong Kong, and track selection by Music Coordinator DJ Gruv, Likuid is the first club in Asia to use exclusively K-Array sound systems, guaranteeing an unsurpassed (and rather costly) clubbing experience.

Unlike the dance floors of old, there is plenty of lounge seating and an emphasis on service standards, but you'll be paying through the nose for the pleasure, with tables going for $4k and up.

Just don't be the last to leave.
