Langham Place, Mongkok Party Langham Place, Mongkok Turns 8

[08/06/12]

The Langham Place, Mongkok is celebrating its eighth birthday with a massive party and we’ve got a few tickets to give away. It'll be a belter of a night, so don't let the thought of going large in Mongkok hold you back. Sure, it’s got a level of grime that transports you back to your uni days - with air conditioning units that spit fury from above - but it’s a breeding ground for feral memories and that’s why we like it. Plus you’ll be partying in a hotel.

The Cuban themed bash is being held on Thursday, June 21, with music from Sonido Cubano and nibbles such as pork tacos and tuna tartar tortillas. You’ll also have access to a Laurent Perrier Champagne Bar, a Vintage Plantation Rum Bar, a Mojito Bar and a VERO Chocolate Bar - frankly more bars than you can shake a stick at. The only downside is the dress code is white. One small slip at the VERO bar and you’ll be going home alone.

Tickets are worth HK$488 each (all-inclusive) and to get your hands on a pair all you’ve got to do is tell us why you love Mongkok. The more original the better, so try to stay away from the gold fish market and the fact that Mongkok sounds like something Austin Powers would invent. We're loving it.
