O Green Cafe Time To Eat Right

[22/10/10]

In the Good Book, we're told that our bodies are temples. Alas, for many of us, those temples resemble more Greek shrines to over indulgence and debauchery (as much as we love it), than mountain monasteries filled with merry monks.

As much as we know we need to stay healthy, sin lies thick upon this city, like scantily-clad female wrestlers in the jello pit of life, and that's hard to resist.

Fortunately, a new Sheung Wan eatery is ensuring that at least your lunch can love your body, even if you're still treating it like an amusement park.

O Green Cafe  specializes in, you guessed it, organic cuisine, serving up healthy pastas, pizza, salads and sandwiches to the mid-town masses. Look out for their signature vegan pasta salad with pine nuts, Italian basil and organic olive oil as well as caffeine (and fun) free dandelion coffee with almond milk.

Interiors are the opposite of your office – well lit, fresh and inviting – with an open kitchen, so you can witness the goodness that goes into every dish. At any other place, you'd be raped blind at the till for such hearty fare, but Organic Cafe's dishes are not only good for the soul, but also for the wallet.

Giving you energy to return to the debauch.
