NecesCity MasterClass with Martell Cognac

[02/03/10]

Learn From the Masters

Many of our favourite film moments involve the wizened old master and his eager young apprentice. There’s Training Days, Star Wars, The Master and of course, an all-time favourite, Pat “Wash On, Wash Off” Morita and Ralph Macchio in The Karate Kid. This is all because there is something inherent in the human psyche that tells us to heed the words of those wiser, to learn now, and kick ass later.

NecesCity’s new series of Master Classes begin this month. These tailored, intimate training sessions will craft NeCitizens in the ways of cognac and cigars, sake and soju, cooking and martials arts. We’ll help you interpret body language and display confidence in meetings. Hell, we’ll even help you tighten up your short game. First to the plate will be Jacques Menier, global ambassador for Martell, who’ll guide budding minds through the cognac tradition, with tastings of Martell’s five distinctive drops; VSOP, CB, XO, Creation and Cohiba. There will also be Cuban cigars on offer and after-class drinks specials so you can show off your new found skills to your mates afterwards.

Because you’re never too old to learn something new.
