Punchline Comedy

Comedy is the Real Adult Entertainment

You know when you see a poster advertising a comedy show that emphasises its Adults Only status, you’re going to be in good company. Don’t act like you don’t love a good dirty joke, don’t crave something a tad controversial after a long week on the workplace wagon. One of the beauties of comedy is that it doesn’t just skim the surface of what’s socially acceptable, it dives deeper than Guo Jingjing, and while comic classics like Billie Crystal have mastered comedy without cussing, most of us are content with more Eddy Murphy-esque punch lines.

Enter Whose Line Is It Anyway, a four-day orgy of comic relief and thigh-slapping goodness brought to you by the happy chappies at Punchline, home to Hong Kong’s best British comedy. Featuring the esteemed talents of Stephen Frost, Ian Coppinger and Andy Smart, backed by ex-research physicist Richard Vranch and UK funny man Steven Steen, this is improv at its best, when comedians need to think on their feet, allowing their true talent (read perverseness) to wash across the audience.

A boys night out if ever there was.
