RISE Entertainment HK Musicians Musicians for HK Events, Studio Time, Lessons & Management

[26/02/12]

RISE Entertainment is a Hong Kong company that can organise musical accompaniment for pretty much any event. What makes the service special is that they approach the business from the point of view of the artist. It was set up by musicians and is run by them to help their fellow peers. You can imagine they throw a great Christmas party but are stumped by a balance sheet.

They offer musicians and equipment hire for events and have worked with clients such as The American Club, BNP Paribas and The Hard Rock Café. The configuration depends on your needs but as a guideline, a six-piece band with full equipment and set up (sound technicians, lighting and music) would cost around HKD$25,000. If you’ve been on more junks than Captain Birdseye himself and are looking for something a bit different for your 30th or 40th birthday, they could be a novel option.

You can expect a high quality night because the artists are trained and sourced by experienced entertainers themselves but they also offer other services. They sell studio time to bands for HK$200/hour and give lessons on any instrument at any skill level for HK$500/hour. Intriguingly, they also help bands and artists further their careers through marketing, promotion, recording and so on so if you look enviously at Dave Grohl, regretful you chose finance over your promising teenage band 'Loud Silence', why not reignite the dream?

All RISE.
