The exhibition is very well produced and though it’s not quite got the ‘wow’ factor you might have expected, it’s a great way to spend half an hour before being a bad boy on Lockhart Road. Since winning the competition for the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank in 1979, the city has been central to the success of Foster's studio and the exhibition showcases their work from here and around the world.
The exhibition features iconic structures such as the Reichstag and the Great Court at the British Museum as well as projects currently under construction. Our pick of the new builds is the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi - it looks like it was dreamed up by a Sci-Fi fan in a haze of hallucinogenic drugs. The real winner of the show, however, is the selection of enormous photos and it runs until September 22 so make sure you head along soon.
